The TORCH Program

Leadership opportunity for PEI women in non-profit sector

Tuesday, June 28, 2016

The TORCH Program includes a course for women who work in the non-profit/voluntary sector and have an interest in developing their leadership and management skills.

In the participant selection process preference will be given to women working in organizations that support the improvement of the status of women.

The program includes a 15-week course that will be held Wednesday evenings (3 hours per week for a total of 45 hours) at the Royalty Centre in Charlottetown from September 6 to December 13, 2016. A second component of the TORCH Program is the development of an ongoing learning community and peer support group among cohort members.

This pilot course will be offered with full scholarships for every participant with funding provided by the PEI Interministerial Women's Secretariat.
