Still Visible

Still Visible is a Charlottetown-based peer support group for self-identified senior women and gender-diverse folks ages 55 plus.

Still Visible supports building connections to help reduce social isolation for senior women and meets every two weeks from October to April to explore gender, shared experience and aging.

When the group first meets in October, participants collaborate to select topics and activities they want to explore in each session.

Our 2024/2025 cohort is now complete.

If you'd like to be sent more info on potential future cohorts, send an email to admin@wnpei.org with your name and contact info.

Session schedule:

  • Starting at 12 noon, participants enjoy lunch served by a certified Red Seal chef (dietary needs and restrictions are met)
  • From 1-2:30 pm, participants explore a topic of their choice, which may include a presentation by a guest or expert speaker
  • From 2:30-3 pm, the group wraps up their session for the day

*Travel subsidy is available for those traveling 15 km or more one way
