SHIFT to STEM Student Workshops
Women’s Network PEI is offering no-cost career exploration workshops for Jr. High and High School aged students (ages 13-18). These workshops will provide a safe place for girls and gender-diverse youth to explore career paths in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) and Trades.
The workshops will highlight career paths (post-secondary, apprenticeships, etc.) and provide fun and engaging hands-on learning activities. Participants will also be able to meet mentors who currently work within one of these chosen career paths.
Trades Workshop
Location: Dalmac Signs (20 Cobirt Drive, Charlottetown)
Date: February 17 from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Our Trades workshop will take place in Charlottetown where participants will get to try out carpentry, plumbing, and electrical workshops.
