Reconnections

Reconnections is an intergenerational peer support group for self-identified women and gender-diverse folks ages 18 plus. The program creates a space for women and gender-diverse Islanders in rural areas to build connections and reduce isolation.
In the first session, participants collaborated to select topics and activities they wanted to explore throughout the program.
Each session includes a provided meal, a topic or activity, opportunities to socialize and build connections, and a wrap-up to end the session. The program runs monthly on Mondays, in Lower Montague and in Milton, from October to April.

This project is funded by the Interministerial Women's Secretariat, Province of PEI.
