Women’s Network PEI invites presenters to submit proposals for the ACT BIG Conference 2025, exploring the potential of Basic Income Guarantee in fostering gender equity and economic justice. Application deadline is Feb 28th, 2025.
Women’s Network PEI is excited to announce the ACT BIG Conference (Advocating Canada Toward Basic Income Guarantee) is taking place June 5-6, 2025, at Holland College in Charlottetown, PEI. The event will bring together non-profit organizations, advocates, community members, and policymakers to explore the transformative potential of a Basic Income Guarantee (BIG) in advancing gender equity and economic justice.
The conference is part of a two-year project, Building a Feminist Coalition for Basic Income Guarantee, funded by Women and Gender Equality Canada.
We are accepting proposals for speakers who can inspire, inform, and challenge attendees with innovative ideas on Basic Income Guarantee.
